Last night on Facebook, I came accross a post about a new project called MKE Soundtracks. Come to find out MKE Soundtracks is a collaboration between local organizations to get folks to explore the city musically. The organizations involved are Night By You, Art Milwaukee, Odyssey, Gozamos Milwaukee, Local Playlist, MKE BKE, Newaukee, DO414 and Shindig.
Throughout this summer MKE Soundtracks will be highlight some of Milwaukee's favorite local bands and festivals. Each event MKE Soundtracks highlights are called tracks. The first track will be their launch party at the Miller Stables on June 9. The launch party is also part of Milwaukee Innovation Week. Performing at this first track will be Hugh Bob & The Hustle and Tony Smith of The New Seven. The event will also have free beer, but you must RSVP over at MKE Soundtracks. So check it out!
