Everyone missed Phoenix. It’s a good thing the first single for their next album, Bankrupt! was released today to tide us over.
The song is called "Entertainerment." Phoenix is starting where they left off 3 years ago with their characteristic alternative-electro-pop sound and seemingly random lyrics (more like, super profound).
Bankrupt!, debuting April 23rd, will be Phoenix’s first LP since the Grammy-winning Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix album in 2009. The band will kick off their world tour in March starting in Vancouver, then making their way over to headline at Coachella in April.
