Len Steals A Super Disco Break

This week on the Seven O'Clock sample, we are headed back to the 90s!  The 1980s offered many significant leaps in samp;ing technology.  By 1990, it was fairly common to find a sampler in many major recording studios, and more and more artists were using these machines.  While hip hop and dance music had always used this technology, more rock and alternative groups were gravitating toward samples.  This week's theme is all about those acts.

In 1999, the group LEN released a big hit with the song "Steal My Sunshine"

This hit, was created from another hit.  In 1976, Andrea True stepped out of the adult film world, and into the recording studio.  Buddah records had a big hit with her song "More More More".
