The Milwaukee duo known as Kiings have been pretty productive. Currently, they are working on their debut album. The duo also will be playing a few showcases at NXNE in Toronto (sister festival to SXSW) this June. Next week, Kiings heads out on a mini tour in New York and Philadelphia.
A few weeks ago, they headed out to Rock Island, Illinois to record session with Daytrotter. Yesterday, the final product of that session was released on Daytrotter's website. The session features 6 tracks. Four of those tracks are re-workings of previously released tracks. The other two are new songs inlcuding one that features Colin Plant from Milwaukee's Logic & Raze (you can listen to it in the player above). Other featured artists from the session includes Milwaukee's Rae Cassidy, and New York's Christine Hoberg. Take a listen to the session via Daytrotter.
