Saint Paul, Minneosta has always lived in the shadows of its twin Minneapolis when it came to music until now. Set to cast a shadow over the entire state of Minnesota, is the group TheStand4rd fronted by the mysterious 16 year old R&B singer Spooky Black. The group just released their debut album with production help from Doc Mckinney, one of the architects behind The Weeknd’s signature sound. Their twisted and sensual take on R&B has recently won national praise from outlets like New York Times, Billboard, and The Fader with their sold-out New York Show.
