Milwaukee indie rock outfit Diet Lite had a big year in 2023. They played the Miller Lite Oasis at Summerfest. They got stage time with Weezer in Madison. They were on the bill for the sold-out mega-Milwaukee show at Turner Hall Ballroom. Then, to top it off, they rocked our stage at Radio Milwaukee for a State of Sound session.
It appears the band's good fortunes will continue into 2024, as they were announced as headliners for the first local show at Vivarium, Pabst Theater Group's new venue opening early next year.
Joining Diet Lite for the March 1 show is another familiar name in the Midwest alt-rock scene — Chicago's Motel Breakfast — and Milwaukee alt-country band Ladybird.
Tickets are already on sale online and at the Pabst Box Office for $15.
