I'm going to keep this short and sweet! Last weekend In The Mix went from a two-hour format, to a four-hour format almost overnight. With most of our local DJs out of work completely or suffering income cuts because of the quarantine, we decided to open up our airwaves for additional programming. Our hope is that this may help relieve some anxiety and stress that many of us are facing. Since the format change, the response has been amazing! DJs from all over the city and Midwest are reaching out and excited to play for our audience. If you are a DJ wanting to submit a set, follow the submission guideline and happy mixing.
Saturday we had the amazing Annalog who came off her two-year hiatus from DJing completely, Riptide for the first time igniting the airwaves with some fresh house and bass, plus the veteran Luke Warm dropped a chill set that can be used for any relaxing occasion. We also unveiled a new show intro created by the homie Alex Peace of Tru Musica!
