No matter what side you are on, you can't deny that this election year has been one of the craziest. One of the highlights of the year has been the meme #TacoTrucksOnEveryCorner, which was a statement first heard in an interview on MSNBC. Several Bay View establishments plan to make that meme a reality with their event '#TacoTrucksOnEveryCorner: Tacos and Cerveza '16' on Nov. 8 from 5pm to 11pm.
Boone & Crocket, Sugar Maple, and Burnhearts will partner with Gypsy Taco, El Grito Taqueria, and Iron Grate BBQ, who will become Iron Grate Taco Co. for election night. Then, 5 Rabbit Cerveceria will provide the cerveza at all locations. At each location, you can watch the election coverage.
Iron Grate BBQ aka Iron Grate Taco Co. will have a special menu that evening that will include walking tacos, Barbacoa tacos, and smoked pork shank tacos.
