Summerfest completes Amp lineup with metal night led by Bad Omens

Milwaukee World Festival

The American Family Insurance Amphitheater’s lineup at Summerfest 2025 continued its genre-jumping ways with the announcement Tuesday that metal band Bad Omens will occupy the last remaining headline date July 4, supported by the like-minded We Came As Romans.

The booking adds another corner of the music universe to the Amp’s offerings, which covers everything from hip-hop (Megan Thee Stallion and Flo Milli) to arena rock (The Killers and Cold War Kids) to country (Lainey Wilson and Lukas Nelson).

Tickets for the Bad Omens and We Came As Romans show the final Friday of the festival will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. this Friday, March 21, online via Ticketmaster and at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater.

Artist bios

Bad Omens materialized with ghostly atmospherics, striking hooks and high-register harmonies uplifted by cinematic production as far back as the group’s 2016 self-titled debut. On its heels were 2019’s Finding God Before God Finds Me and their first headline tour, which was cancelled mid-stream due to the pandemic.

The band found themselves at home in Los Angeles, where they absorbed and imparted a different palette of unexpected inspirations. Channeling a newfound confidence and boundlessly loose creativity, they crafted what became their third full-length album, The Death of Peace of Mind.

After nearly 15 years together, We Came As Romans weathered their darkest time and emerged stronger in the name of fallen brother and member Kyle Pavone.
Following his death in 2018, the band made a careful decision to push forward, returning to the road before gathering in the studio for their next chapter. In the time since, We Came As Romans released a series of singles that paved the way to their sixth studio album, 2022’s Darkbloom.
